Netflix has announced that they’re making The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a darker version of the ’90s sitcom series Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Will Melissa Joan Hart make a guest appearance on the new show? While we wait for the answer, let’s take a look at what the original cast members have been up to since the series premiered more than two decades ago!
Melissa Joan Hart, Sabrina Spellman
Fifteen years after saying goodbye to her old witchy character, Hart starred in the sitcom, Melissa & Joey for four seasons, and is now married with children. Her name popped up during the 2016 presidential election when she supported Libertarian Gary Johnson.
Beth Broderick, Zelda Spellman
Broderick was known as Zelda, the strictest aunt, who had a thing for science as well as magic. Beth has appeared on CSI, Lost, and Supernatural. She also volunteers with Momentum, a NY organization that helps people with AIDS.
Caroline Rhea, Hilda Spellman
Rhea played Sabrina’s other aunt, Hilda, a witch who was totally eccentric, fun, and seriously, the most entertaining character to watch on the show. Eventually, the actress took over Rosie O’Donnell’s talk show for a brief time, and appeared in the film A Very Sordid Wedding, and on the game show, Match Game.
Nate Richert, Harvey Kinkle
Richert played Harvey, Sabrina’s on-again off-again soulmate. By 2006, he gave up on acting, and in 2010, he decided to become a musician. In fact, you can listen to some of his awesome music on his website!
