Online shopping comes with plenty of perks. The fact that it’s a time-saver is probably the most appealing one. And, you can shop anytime you want, day or night, without having to put on decent clothes and leave the house. But after spending days (ahem, weeks) waiting for your order to be delivered, you get the shock of your life as you finally realize…that’s not what you had ordered! Whether you failed to read the description or the image was misleading, you’ll never buy clothes online ever again.
The Ill-Fitting Outfit
Outfits usually look amazing on a website model. The images are heavily edited, and models know how to pose to get the best out of each piece. But when you try it on, you realize that expectation and reality are very far apart. The first hint that an online purchase is going to be a bad idea is when the seller barely adds any real info or measurements. Double check, always!
Bippity, Boppity, Yikes!
Well, Cinderella, looks like your time has just about run out! The magic has totally fizzled out. This poor customer thought she’d be the belle of the ball with a lovely voluminous ombré dress. Instead, she received a dress that seems to be missing a ton of layers…and actual good taste.
The Curtain Call
This online shopper expected to look like Scarlett from Gone with the Wind. Instead, she ended up wearing something that looks an awful lot like a repurposed curtain. Actually, a curtain might look better than this.
What An Eyesore!
This poor woman wanted a smooth, silky dress. If she’d wanted what arrived in the mail, she could have just ripped up her bed sheets and wrapped them around her body.
