Brunettes want to be blonde, and blondes want to be brunettes. Short people want to be tall, and tall people want to be short. Pale people want to be tanned, but tan people want to be pale…well, sort of. While pale skin is also mindbogglingly beautiful, not all people really wish they had it. And that probably has something to do with some of the many problems pale people suffer. From getting sunburned easily to finding proper makeup for their complexion, here are some of the funniest issues really white-skinned people have to face every day.
This should be considered a risk sport for pale people. Not only do they need tons of sunscreen, unless they love a lobster-like sunburn, but pale people also can’t get a hot tan like their non-pale friends. There’s a silver lining: they can camouflage themselves in the white sand!
Taking Pictures With Flash
Taking pictures at night almost always requires flash. Unless you’re really really white! If someone’s using the flash, then you know that means no pictures for you! The way the flash bounces ends up making you look like a ghost who went a little overboard with the sunscreen. Ouch.
Pale people have extremely delicate skin, so it’s really easy to spot anything wrong with it. If an area itches and you scratch, an end-of-the-world rash might appear, leaving people wondering if you’re breaking out in hives and are about to pass out.
Looking Sick 24/7
Pale people get tons of questions like, “OMG! Are you OK?” “Do you feel sick? You look off.” Yes, they are OK, people! That’s just what their natural skin looks like! To every con, there’s a pro: they can easily “fake” being sick, and everyone will believe them. Tell them again why they need to get a tan. Go ahead!
