The internet is head-over-paws about cats. So it shouldn’t come as much of a shock that digital artist, Alfra Martini, also known as aymvisuals, decided to crop out famous musicians in album covers and replace them with some adorable felines instead. Now, we have to say that these covers look way cooler than the original thing. No offence to the original music talents who gifted us these albums, though! Still, you got to admit that portfolio is seriously an upgrade!
Strike A Pose
Talented pop singer, Madonna, needs to step off, because thanks to Alfra Martini, there’s a new “Queen Of Pop.” She’s got plenty of claws and fierce cuteness to steal her spot!
Enter Bob Meowley
The New York-based artist feels that replacing musicians like Bob Marley with a cat in the “Legend” album, allows him to pay tribute to classic rock artists, which also influenced her own career in the process, too.
Ground Control To Major Cat
Take your protein pills and put your helmet on, because Martini has taken this original “Aladdin Sane” album cover by David Bowie and turned it into a “Space Oddity,” complete with face paint and all. Bowie would approve.
Pet Shop Cats
The English synthpop duo, The Pet Shop Boys, are cute with one of them yawning and the other one frowning. But Martini’s kitty album version is way cuter. It’s im-paw-sible not to smile at these Pet Shop kitties!
